Fundraising

Are you planning a fundraising event or campaign? Here’s what you need to know to ensure your efforts align with Casper College policies:

Who Can Fundraise: Both students (part of a Recognized Student Organization) and employees can fundraise. Employees may also raise funds for college community members if pre-approved.

Casper College Foundation’s Role: The Foundation’s Executive Director ensures that fundraising efforts don’t oversolicit the same businesses or individuals. They may offer guidance on which organizations to approach, list conditions or restrictions, and, in coordination with the college president, have the final say in approving or revoking a fundraiser.

Important Rules:

  • Fundraisers must align with the college’s mission and comply with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Fundraising for personal or political gain is prohibited.
  • Use of the college’s name, logo, or branding requires prior approval from Public Relations.
  • Funds must be deposited into a college-approved account on the first business day after collection.

Those who wish to hold fundraising activities or sales must demonstrate that the activity serves an educational purpose and that any proceeds will either further the organization's goals, provide additional programs for the student body, or benefit a charitable organization.

Fundraising for the benefit of Casper College Students and Programs enriches the experience for our college community. We want to help your fundraiser succeed and offer additional online donation forms and event options to elevate your efforts. Please ask about these options when you contact us!
